The arrogance and incompetence of former Lord Chancellor the unlamented Chris Grayling set in motion the destruction of the probation service. Further proof of his and previous incumbents of his post`s mishandling of their duties can be seen from the reducing numbers of breaches of ASBOs and laterally CRASBOs.
And he is a good example of what career politicians just don't understand about wider society. He had absolutely no experience in legal matters and yet he gets to become Lord Chancellor. He then comes out with absolutely stupid policies / statements that the general public have no interset in because they don't understand the courts and the ramifications. And there are other examples too numeros to mention. And we, the court users, have to find a form of words so that our clients can understand. And let's not forget the equal treatment bench book just released. Do these people at 102 Petty France dream this up for themselves or exactly who is pulling their strings? Quite sinister really.
